It also can be easily cooked in a microwave using the auto touch “potato” button or you can cook on “high” for approximately 8 minutes.

Step by Step Instructions
- 1. Wash sweet potatoes with a brush under running water for any leftover dirt or debris.
- Pierce the skin with a fork, allowing the potato to steam while cooking.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place clean potatoes on a cookie sheet or flat baking pan. Let potatoes cook 45-60 minutes or until flesh is soft when pierced with a fork.
- Add desired toppings: cinnamon, chopped pecans or walnuts
